Need some extra k’s in the legs

Walter Murch the editor of films like Apocalypse Now and The Conversation likes to stand while editing.

But what about pedaling and editing? As a male I’m not sure about my ability to multi task the two action at once.

Sad news

I know this Californian road well and it’s really sad to read a cyclist lost his life on it.  I hope Rapha got them to sign waivers.

Sometimes when you are caught in the moment of adrenaline. You forget there are no airbags, ABS brakes or any form of safety equipment other then a helmet. Take care out there!

Summer Wardrobe

It’s a new season and time to freshen up the wardrobe.

I’m not a fan of wearing team kits, I like them on other people just not me. I have been wearing Brandt-Sorenson cycling apparel for a while now and totally love it. Some items can be a little Rapha-ish, but hey Rapha weren’t the first ones either.

One of my  favorite items is this Gilet in a Prince of Whales check. You feel instantly dapper when you throw this on.

Brandt-Sorrenson knicks are also worth the coin, I rate the chamois next to my Assos and Rapha knicks for comfort. I have an earlier version that uses an organic printing method for the leg band decals. This printing is great for the environment but hasn’t really held up over time. Brandt-Sorrenson has now switched to sublimation printing which has much better wear and tear characteristics.

Lately Brandt-Sorrenson has really stepped it up with these striped polo inspired jerseys. Made from Bamboo material, which is meant to wick moisture and keep you more cool than merino wool. I received mine last week and had my first hot summer ride on the weekend. The jersey felt great and I was in no way overheating, even in black.
