I think this music video was an exercise for the art department to see how many hipster trends they could fit into 4min and 56sec. The hipsters look like they had a hard time singing and riding simultaneously .

Eli Carrico Parlee Z4 & Z5
Eli’s a very talented designer based in Los Angeles,we met while working at Brand New School LA. It doesn’t take long to realise Eli loves colour and is not afraid to use it.
Less is more and less is sexy. Just in case you need to know the rules to build the perfect ride. Eli is a master of colour and doesn’t mind a splash of it on his bikes, but he still keeps it simple.

Mount Baw Baw
Mt Baw Baw is one of the toughest one day mountain road races in the world. It also takes place in one of the most beautiful places I have ridden.

It can only get better with time
With Euro Bike and Interbike around the corner we are going to see lots of tasty new products to lust over and consume. Many of the more noble products that are trying to solve global issues of pollution and traffic congestion often get looked over, but the Copenhagen Wheel surely deserves mention for thinking outside the box.
Melbourne has a decent number of bikes on the road, but there is still a long way to go before cyclists are second nature to motorist. Don’t get me wrong I like cars and enjoy driving, but I hate sitting in traffic and looking aimlessly for parking.
New Wheel Day
The new 2011 C-4 hubs are starting to roll in. Zachary took some pics of the new wheels for his crit machine. C-4 FH-65 front and RH205 rear hubs laced to Edge Clinchers.
The FH65 has wide flange spacing for a super stiff front wheel, made in the USA and both hubs have ceramic bearing.
If you need some custom wheels built, talk to Dan at Shifter Bikes who will satisfy all your needs.
Dan builds wheels for days.
BMC Team Machine
I’ll be honest and say I haven’t been a huge fan of BMC until the 2010 Team Machine. Although there has been moments of weakness like the Hublot Team Machine.
Andrew’s our next “Lucky Fuckr” with his 5.7kg BMC SLR01 Team Machine. That’s an amazing weight considering it has alloy clinchers, cadence sensor, computer and lights. The bike is a great balance of weight and durability. You could happily make this your do it all training and racing bike.
It just wouldn’t be Swiss without Helvetica.
Lots of nice graphic touches. Racy but not over the top.
Overall weight is kept down with the help of sub 1100gr clinchers laced with 28/32 Ti spokes. Rear is tied for added stiffness.
Verified! thats 12.56lbs in the old scale.
Congratulations Andrew, you are a Lucky Fuckr.
This bike was built by Kaos Custom Bikes.
Skipping The Middle Man
With the rise in online bike retailers over the last few years, brick and mortar retailers have been forced to rework business models to cope with the new competition. Here in Australian, the state of retail pricing is on the lips of every shopaholic gear junkie. There’s no need for me to regurgitate what has already been said just visit Cycling Tips article about LBS vs Online Shops to see what people think. I’m more interested in what’s happening on a manufacturing level.
Soft Spot
I have a soft spot for Independent Fabrications since I own one, and they were a pleasure to deal with. I came across this film by a very talented individual named Stebs, who works under the guise Paper Fortress.
